This Christchurch central city office was created in the ‘Justice Precinct’ as part of the Christchurch rebuild.

Established professional feel with a modern edge. Unlike most legal firms, large open plan areas were created with adjacent break-out and meeting rooms. High levels of acoustic performance were designed into the ceiling and wall finishes to provide an optimal work environment.

Creating a warehouse loft office with an industrial edge was the brief for this Christchurch client. This new build was created in the central city after the Earthquake of 2011. Sophisticated yet casual, the extensive use of plywood was balanced with textured flooring and black steelwork details. A high level of acoustic performance was designed into the ceiling system to mitigate rain and internal noise.

A sophisticated manufacturing laboratory for one of Canterbury’s leading Bio-tech companies. The building, originally a warehouse/office, required extensive internal modification and the installation of complex mechanical and piped services. The exterior of the building only required minor alterations, consisting of new colours and branding to give the company a professional image.

When it came time to be part of the Christchurch re-build, Harcourts Grenadier asked us to make a statement with their new office design. The use of bold forms and a color palette that references the corporate imagery reflects the established yet progressive nature of the business.

The Auction room with adjacent client meeting break-out spaces features large scale images of pre-earthquake Christchurch, a link to the old inner city.

A slick sharp interior for this Invercargill accounting firm that was after a fresh look.

Integrated LED lighting bounces light off the high gloss surfaces and makes for a dynamic reception space. Red accent carpet counterpoints the company logo.

This bright new look was a triumph of materials. While sticking within what could be called a traditional layout, a few carefully chosen elements add powerful visual appeal. The highly saturated blue gives immediate impact behind the custom-designed reception desk, while the rest of the design choices are supporting and understated.

With a nod to the Californian Bungalow, this new building reflects its residential setting, a significant factor that assisted in achieving its Resource Consent approval. Constructed for an owner operator after the Christchurch earthquakes, the building design is a departure from the typical corporate style, offering a warm relaxed environment serving the local community.

A crisp fresh palette of colours and materials have been used to fill this light and airy space, creating a point of difference for this independently owned inner city Pharmacy.

The highly patterned flooring design forms a sophisticated background for the flexible product displays. A wide range of giftware compliments the Pharmacy business.

Bold and bright, this independent suburban Pharmacy clearly makes a statement that makes it stand out from the competition. With a strong emphasis on giftware, Sydney Blue Gum is used as a sophisticated background for the product display. Complimented with colour accents and soft

You need to be bold for a central city motorcycle dealership. You also need clear space to put an array of bikes, from scooters through to big bore Boulevard cruisers. And you need to tie traffic flows and administration spaces into an easy, workable design.

This Christchurch operation wanted a solution that was practical but also where customers would respond in a positive manner to the bikes on show.

It was a matter of giving the range itself centre stage, but using the surroundings to reinforce the Suzuki brand, creating a hard-working retail space with the right degree of style.
